Main functionality of gtranslator is editing gettext po files which can be done quite well with it but there are some points missing or not well enough and have got to been developed furthermore - this list of feature requests, logical extentions, future idea and important bugs is available at our bug base on http://bugzilla.gnome.org via this very complete bug listing on b.g.o where all important things are listed up already.

In the nearby future gtranslator will get a very useful and more powerful translation base program with more enhanced group-usage functions, more translation memory usage and/or integration of the learn buffer into the normal usage shapes (you can already search the learn buffer for translations and autotranslate a po file but more enhanced operations are not possible yet).
